Job Summary:
The job holder will be the academic and administrative head of the School of Nursing and Midwifery and will manage it in a manner that ensures academic excellence, efficient use of resources, and the welfare of students and staff, in line with Mildmay Institute of Health Sciences, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and Sports, the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council, and other relevant national and international policies and guidelines.

 Qualification & experience:

• A Master’s Degree in Nursing
• A Bachelors degree in Nursing
• Post graduate diploma in Medical Education or its equivalent.
• PhD in a health-related field is an added advantage
• Registration and valid license with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC)
• Registration as a Tutor
• Minimum 5 years’ experience of teaching in a clinical setting.
• Experience in managing an academic programme.
