This course explores why and how health policy decisions are made and how you can engage in the public policy process to improve health equality around the world; presents frameworks to help define public health problems, analyze and prioritize policy solutions, map stakeholder interests, anticipate policy implementation barriers, engage in global health diplomacy and policy negotiations, and develop policy advocacy strategies. 

 

Apply in 3 steps;
1. go to https://edgh.washington.edu, select ‘Log in’ on the top right, and then ‘Create a new account’.
Then follow the steps on that page.
2. Once you have created your account, go to https://edgh.washington.edu/courses/participant-application
3. Select the “Site-Based Participant” option when applying and select your site as “Uganda Kampala MILDMAY INSTITUTE OF HEALTH SCIENCES (MIHS)” from the list on the application

Note: You may be asked if you understand that you may be responsible to contribute to site fees – select yes. 
You will receive a confirmation email once you have submitted your application.
