Eligibility

• Certificate in Midwifery and Diploma in Nursing with proof of registration with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council.
• MUST have practiced for 2 years and above.

Career Path

• Can upgrade to a Degree in Midwifery. Later Masters in Midwifery and PHD in Midwifery.

O level certificate with

1. A credit in Biology and Chemistry, Passes in Physics, Mathematics, English (Two credits and four passes.
2. Must be between 18 and 25 years.

Eligibility 

• Five passes at O’level in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English Language obtained at the same sitting.

For Direct entrants

• A principal pass in either Biology or Chemistry and a subsidiary pass in either of the 2 plus any other science subsidiary pass obtained in A' level at the same sitting, plus
•  Five passes at O’ level in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English Language obtained at the same sitting.

For upgrades

Eligibility - UACE principle pass in Biology & subsidiary pass in chemistry plus any other subsidiary pass or A certificate in a health related discipline that is equivalent to UACE

Eligibility - UCE with at least 3 passes including: English

Eligibility -  UCE with at least 3 passes including: Mathematics and Biology

Eligibility -  Minimum: UCE with at least 3 passes including; English and at least6 months of work experience within a Health and or Social care setting
